JIR Biblically Responsible Indexes

James Investment Research (JIR) serves as sponsor of the following two indexes:

James Biblically Responsible Investment Index (JBRI)

The James Biblically Responsible Index applies James Investment Research’s Time-Tested Multi-Factor Stock Selection Methodology to the BIBLX Index of Biblically Responsible Corporations.  Constituents of BIBLX must pass all screens required for the fully investable, duplicate-free benchmark index.

eVALUEator  Biblically Responsible Index (BIBLX)

The eVALUEator Biblically Responsible Index (BIBLX) is designed to exclude companies that are involved in practices and products objectionable from a Biblical perspective, such as abortion, pornography, alcohol, tobacco, and gambling. BIBLX serves as a benchmark for Biblically responsible investing and as a starting universe for index development.

Strictly Rules Based

JBRI and BIBLX both depend on a clearly defined rules-based methodology, which is overseen by an impartial Index Committee. No discretion is exercised in compiling the indexes and a pre-defined screening protocol assures a consistent, transparent and arms-length compilation process.
